Cycling from Thimphu to Dubai.

From November 30th to Dec 12th, the climate conference will take place in Dubai. Jamyang Jamtsho Wangchuk (known from the film Seven Years in Tibet) will cycle from across the Himalayas to Dubai to raise awareness of the impact of climate change.

Did you know that the magnificent glaciers in Bhutan will disappear in the next 50 years if we don't act now?

Wangchuk says, "COPs have failed to set a concrete and time-bound target to phase out all fossil fuels and meet the zero-emission vehicle sales targets. But this should not deter us from pressuring world leaders and corporations to be accountable."
