✔️ CyclOn Blooming Bike Bubbles or CyclOn Plant-Based Bike Cleaner
✔️ CyclOn Plant-Based Chain Cleaner
✔️ CyclOn Plant-Based Brake Cleaner
✔️ Brushes suitable for painted surfaces or a wash mitt (available at CyclOn)

STEP 1: CLEANING

Cleaning the Drivetrain
This includes the cassette, chain, derailleurs, and chainrings:

  • Spray the CyclOn Plant-Based Chain Cleaner on the drivetrain.
  • Let it sit for three minutes.
  • Use a stiff-bristled brush to remove dirt and grease.
  • Rinse thoroughly with water.
  • Dry everything with a clean cloth.

 Cleaning the Frame and Wheels

  • Rinse your bike with a garden hose (low pressure) to remove mud and dirt.
  • Prepare a soapy solution with CyclOn Blooming Bike Bubbles.
  • Use a soft brush or wash mitt to clean the frame and wheels.
  • Rinse the frame again with water to remove cleaning residue.
  • Dry everything with a scratch-free cloth.

Cleaning the Brakes:

Disc Brakes

  • Spray CyclOn Plant-Based Brake Cleaner onto a cloth and wipe the discs.
  • Avoid touching the discs with your fingers to prevent contamination.

Rim Brakes

  • Clean the rim edge with a cloth and Brake Cleaner.

Pro Tip: Clean disc brake pads by removing them, spraying them with Brake Cleaner, and wiping them with a cloth.

STEP 2: LUBRICATING

After cleaning, it's essential to lubricate the chain:

  • Ensure the chain is completely dry.
  • Apply CyclOn Plant-Based Chain Oil or Plant-Based Chain Wax.

When to use what?

  • Chain Oil: Perfect for wet conditions like rain, mud, or wet terrain.
  • Chain Wax: Ideal for dry conditions, as it stays cleaner.

Apply a drop to each chain link and let it soak in.
Before riding, lightly wipe the chain with a cloth to remove excess lubricant and prevent dirt buildup.

STEP 3: PROTECTING

  • Spray all components (except the drivetrain) with CyclOn Natural Bike Protector.
  • Let it sit for a minute.
  • Polish the bike with a scratch-free cloth to create a shiny, dirt-repellent finish.
